Message: They won’t work on motors from the 90s and below. Spoke to Tom on the phone and after reminding him that he said he’d help with fixing my motor from the 70s, he got rude. Probably a good place to go for newer motors but don’t waste your time if you have one pre 2000.. Edit: Tom did choose to help me with my engine for free a few times after insisting that I would pay which was very generous. However, he told me to buy an incompatible part and I didn’t know until I took my motor to a different mechanic. I am emphasizing on the fact that they will not work on older motors so DO NOT waste your time if you have one. That’s what matters more in this review.

Message: Repaired by Yamaha 60 hp 4 stroke engine - I had 3 other mechanics. work on it without solving the problem - motor would not run over 1200 rpm without shutting down - Scheduled an appointment with Tom's Mobile - came when scheduled - fixed the problem in less than 1 hour. Tom and his son Cody are "The best in Brevard" I have owned and repaired boats for 30 years - these guys are amazing.

Message: Called Tom’s to come have him look at my boat and he spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me and told me to check a couple things first and sure enough he was right the timing was off. I would have happily paid him to come out. Class A guy for giving me some pointers at no cost. Should I have any issues in the future I would use his service.

Message: I was having an issue with my Yamana outboard motor lift and I was stuck at the dock with the motor in the up position (bad electrical relay). I called tom's and made an appointment for them to come out and repair the motor lift. They did a great job. Very through and great service along with fair pricing. All said I am very happy with the work done and they will definitely be my first call on any other mechanical issuse with the motor. The conditions were very windy and rough with the boat bouncing up and down. This team is the best for your engine repairs and service.
